Description
Striped sunflower seeds are larger than black seeds and have a harder shell. The biggest are toasted and used predominately for human snacks, whilst the smaller seeds make their way into wild bird food.
Our striped sunflower seeds have been double cleaned to ensure that the stalk debris and dirt have been removed.
Striped sunflower seeds are attractive to bigger birds such as woodpeckers, however nuthatches can also crack them open, and they are enjoyed by tits and finches.
Striped sunflower seeds are best fed from a hanging seed feeder, a bird table or feeding platform or can be scattered on the ground.
If you would prefer to feed them from a hanging feeder, we recommend that you use an easy clean feeder, where the bottom easily detaches for easy cleaning and emptying.
